San Andreas the movie hit the theaters this weekend. The trailers show some scenes that are believable and some that are silly, but it is an entertainment movie. The San Andreas causing a tsunami is a bit out there as how the wave would arrive.However, a large tsunami is a scary thing to contemplate and we have maps http://www.pmel.noaa.gov/pubs/PDF/wals2794/wals2794.pdf and a movie for the Seattle Fault Zone. Maybe The Rock will do a sequel involving the Seattle waterfront.
