Lisa and I saw Another Year at the Pickford Theater in Bellingham on Sunday. One of the lead characters was an engineering geologist. Had a short scene checking out a drilling core at a drill rig including breaking open the sampler, another scene reviewing drill cores laid out on long tables and wrapping cores in plastic, and a classic scene where he was asked to describe his job.
This was a great film with outstanding writing, acting and editing. I give it 5 stars. The film is not about geology but it was a nice bonus to see ones career in a movie.
