Notes from Field Work Ventures

View of across Carr Inlet to McNeil Island with the small Gertrude Island

Feeling the dirt from test pit

Madrones and a lot blackberry

Post passage through the brush - I got a couple of thorn wounds on my head and legs as well

The tides were against me, but only knee deep.
Sea water is no where near as bad as fresh water this time of year and was a fair bit warmer than the air.

At the end of a long drive I ended in Leavanworth and enjoyed the lights in the town square.
The air was very cold here.

A couple of late night sledders in the town square
